Devon Villages Worth Visiting During Your Stay

A range of lovely North Devon villages have been featured in a news article from our umbrella company Brend Hotels; Croyde, Lee, Braunton, Clovelly, Hartland, Woolacombe, Instow and Appledore

In their piece they've taken a look at 15 must visit Devon villages that people can't help but fall in love with. Some you may have heard of, some may have passed you by, but we agree that these particular North Devon villages rightly deserve to be featured.

Each one is unique and special, to both locals and holidaymakers alike, as they all offer something different when exploring the region.

Woolacombe and Croyde are the famous surfer's paradise, popular for having beautiful beaches and vibrant centres. Yet Lee is tucked away off the main roads and is often overlooked because of its remoteness.

Braunton meanwhile is a hub of activity, a gateway to other key locations.

Hartland's small village is surrounded by the dramatic cliffs and coastal escapes the Hartland area is famous for. Clovelly is next door, tumbling down the hills - a place full of history and cobbled streets.

Then there's Instow and Appledore, facing each other across the estuary water, one with an inland beach, the other with colourful houses and a big fishing heritage.

Whatever it is you look for in a village, visit all of these locations when staying with us at The Park Hotel to get a true sense of what life is like in North Devon.
