When thinking of romance, words such as love and beauty come to mind -  and this is something that North Devon has always had to offer. Located in the heart of the South West, Devon is known for its amazing natural scenery and authentic feel. In our eyes Devon is one of the most romantic places to visit, so if your thinking of spending a romantic weekend away then here are 10 romantic things to do in  North Devon.

Watching the sun go down has been voted the most romantic way of spending an evening. With plenty of beaches to choose from, Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands and Woolacombe to name a few, you’ll be spoilt for choice of romantic locations during your stay in Devon.

Westward Ho!’s pebble ridge is one of our favourite places to do so, so grab a fish and chip takeaway from Atlantic Bay and find your spot on the pebbles.

Once the sun’s gone down you can pop into the amusement arcades and have a go on the slot machines or challenge your loved one to a game of air hockey.
